The road varies week-to-week and month-to-month. Haven't driven it this year but drove it last September. Will be on it again this July.

Your only place for fuel will be Ross River as the gas station in Faro burned last August.

Top up on groceries in Carmacks to get you to Watson Lake as the selection in Faro and Ross River is limited and expensive.

The Campbell Hwy last September was good gravel from Ross River to Watson Lake ... we probably averaged 30 mph. However, a previous year it took us 4 hours to do what it took us 2 hours to do last year. Previous year was June and they hadn't graded the road yet. Last September the summer roadwork was complete.

The territorial campgrounds along the route are all nice. We especially like the Frances Lake campground.
