Posted a message earlier in April or March about problem we were having with Onan Gen on our 2007 Roadtrek 210P. Took it to local Cummins dealer for troubleshoot- hard to start then run for a bit then die/chugging-stall. Turned out to be bad fuel pump which was a 2.5 hour job to replace as unit had to be dropped and case opened. Under warranty so at least no cost to us. Hard to believe a unit with 34 hours on it would need a fuel pump replaced but they say it happens from time to time. For what it is worth.....
For new B owners.....Cummins recommends running that generator for an hour or 2 every month regardless of useage.
blame most of it on the rv dealers they get the rv's in and let them sit on the lot and never run the genset as they don't want to put any hours on it.
We get a lot of new gensets in with less than 1 hour on them with varnish in the carb so bad it won't even start at all.
Varnish is not a warranted repair but when the are selling a pricey motorhome they don't care about paying for a it.
