We have been having problems with mice getting into the trailer during the winter months. We have been putting about six pounds of mothballs inside and underneath the trailer. My question: How do I get rid of the mothball odor?

You'll have to air out the trailer.

Put a bunch of dead mice in your trailer and seal it up.. that should get rid of the moth ball odor...

Seriously, as swebber said, air it out.

We had problems with mice a year ago, so this winter we put moth balls, but only around the ground outside the TT. It still smelled inside when we opened this spring. I can't imagine having the smell Burlingame will be trying to get rid of. I got one of those plug in Yankee Candle aroma oil thingy's (another big word) and it really helped.

We used dryer sheets instead of mothballs and didn't have any problems and also didn't have an odor problem. Put them in every compartment and drawer.

We used dryer sheets everywhere and the mice deficated and urinated on them! Switched to mothballs and steel wool with cayenne pepper on the tires. Don't know if it'll work.
