here in the park I'm staying at for a while helping my dad I saw something a bit off last night. I was retuning from the store and following 2 30 ' or so Freelander Class rentals. As we all turned down our street heading for the park entrance I noticed the front class C was traveling with it's rear slideout (Bedroom- like an Outback TT) extended in the out position. I had to stop while they both backed into their sites and watched the one. Must have been foreigners. I couldn't help to wonder how long they had traveled like that. They had just gotten off the freeway when I first encountered them! I didn't speak for them however I may stroll down there this evening if it cools off (101 rt now) and they are inside. Now that was as first for me and 00% sure that's not right lol!

Sounds more like you were having a flash-back of the Robin Williams movie, "RV"....didn't they do something like that? Too funny, but also glad that they didn't get anyone hurt!

They're still here, but it's 104 outside right now so later if it cools off I may stroll down there for a "visit". Right now though it's 77 inside so I'll wait lol!

Have never really cared for coaches with slides.
And had heard (somewhere) that a rig can't/won't move if the slides are out. A falsehood, huh?
Guess I can learn something new everyday - but I STILL wouldn't have one!
