We just bought a "new" used coach yesterday and will be full timing in it in a couple of months. We've had pictures up on the walls on previous coaches but always took them down when we traveled. What are you using to keep those family pictures etc up while you travel? I don't want to mark up the walls any worse than they are already.

This is the stuff I use:3M Command Picture Strips. Holds pictures firm so they don't swing around when traveling. Have not had one fail yet.

Since we have always kept our Motor Homes for a very long time we nail in a small picture hook and then Velcro a sticky double sided piece to the picture and the wall. Yes it does leave a little hole in the wall. But it is small enough to easily go unnoticed. Hope this helps. Oh yeas over 1000's on miles one has never fallen off the wall.

We also use the 3M Command strips. For pictures we use the regular strips, but for the clock I used the "Velcro"-like Command strips so that it could be removed to change batteries. All have worked very well for us except for the Command strip hook my wife used to hold up a magazine rack. Pulled off in a couple of days, but didn't do any damage.

They make stuff called poster putty it will hold light pictures to the walls , you can use 3m picture hagers with it .

We've seen a combination of things. Our last 5er had pictures screwed into the wall. But we find as long as the picture frame, plate or clock isn't too heavy, that the Heavy Duty Velcro works the best.

I agree with other posters; the 3M Command Strips work well and can be removed without any damage to the wall. For our one large painting, I stapled heavy-duty velcro to the wall and picture, but it's in an area where a picture will always be hung.

Go to a mirror store, they have a special metal strips (one for the wall and one for what your hanging. We also use Velcro on bottom of the item to keep from swing out. We never take down our picture or mirrors. The heaviest mirror is around 50 pounds. We purchased ours on line, if I can find the information them I will PM it to you.

I have used 3M Command interlocking fastener strips on all of my pictures & even a heavier clock, they hold very well. Haven't had anything fall off the wall in miles of traveling, including the Alaska Highway! Becky

We use poster putty. You can buy it at Wal Mart and it works really good. You sure don't to use any screws or nails.
