I have a 2003 Monaco Cayman with Norcold Fridge. I pluged the MH into the house current and the fridge says no A/C. It wants to switch to LP but I don't want to use up the LP. Now what? We go to Disney next weekend.

Someday I will get to RV out of Florida and add color to my map.

Maybe check and or reset all of your breakers or if one is marked for the fridge do that one. Sometimes they look like they are on but reseting them will get it going.
Just a thought.

I have a Norcold and mine has a regular cord and plug which is pluged into an outlet, accessible from the outside of the coach. The grill which allows air into the lower portion of the back of the fridge. If that were to be unplugged, the fridge would register NO AC. Just a thought.

assuming you know power is coming from power cord,
Turn off refer. Remove the outside access cover. Unplug the refer (the bottom cord) and plug it into a separate extension cord from the house electrical system. Turn refer back on. If it comes on, you are not getting power to your outlet. Have you tried running your genset and see if refer works. If refer still says no ac after plugging into extension cord..... proceed.
Turn refer off... unplug from extension cord. Remove the black plastic cover over the pc board... you may have to pull the red High Voltage wire out first. There is a 7.5 amp glass type automotive fuse located a bottom left of the circuit board. See if it is blown.. if so replace. Plug back up, and turn refer on.Refer should work. If fuse is not blown, your PC board is bad. If it is bad, you choice is to run your refer on propane or buy ice chest.... I would use propane.

Thanks, I knew a couple of weeks ago it worked fine when plugged into a 30 amp service and on LP. I have never plugged it into a normal house current before. I only had the mh for about a month now. I will try it tomorrow when I get off duty.

In many RVs the outlet for the refrigerator is one of the ones on the GFI outlet that is found in the bathroom of most RVs. It usually protects the outlets in the kitchen, outside wall and the one in the refrigerator rear access. Check to see if it has been tripped.

The GFI in the bathroom is good. I have two plugs on the outside access panel and I unplugged one at a time. One was for the ice maker and the other for the fridge. I plugged them in directly and still got no A/C reading on the panel. I ran the generator and it went fine to A/C that way. It is cooling down nicely on LP right now. Now what?

If you have a volt meter, while on shore power check the voltage at the outlets. It must be above 108 volts. This may be the reason it runs on genset.

did you check that 7 1/2 amp fuse I was talking about?

I haven't found the circuit board yet. It must be in the front of the fridge. I will have to unscrew the panel to get to it because I didn't see it from the outside acess. But is the fuse for a/c only since it runs on LP and generator? I thought it ran good whem plugged into 30 or 50 amp service also.
