Do NOT install the convertor between the antenna and the switch box or you will fry the convertor. There is 12V going up to the antenna amplifier on the cable.

There are several on the way, but I haven't seen a coupon box with 'bypass" on the shelves yet. Anyone else?

Because even after the analog cut-off date there will still be active analog translators and LP transmitters out there, including SAC. If you don't have a device with pass-thru, you will need to split the antenna to feed the converter and the TV through a A-B switch, and use the switch to switch between antenna direct, or the converter.
WITH Pass-thru, you turn the converter off and it bypasses itself.
