We have never camped there, but live 5 minutes away in North Beach.
I saw you live in SOMD, so just got my curiousity up. Are you in a local chapter? We're in a chapter with members ranging as far north as Greenbelt, MD (PG County) down to Lexington Park (St. Mary's) and several in Calvert.

Are you looking for over night or seasonal? They are mostly seasonal there and all the spaces are very tight and about the only thing you do get is the beach, there is not much close by. I have not stayed there but have been through. It is not bad but certainly tight if you have a larger rig... We have considered it but just haven't made it...
