We are down to the last item of our build sheet and are not familiar with the fantastic fan. Is it a helpful item to buy or maybe we don't need it. I guess it removes the hot air ? Please chime in. Thanks

If you don't have one in the bathroom, you'll want at least one of them somewhere. Great little exhaust fan! I don't know if I'd go for 2 of them, so if the bathroom has one, that may be enough.....
Of course, it also depends on the temps you camp in...will you be using the A/C all the time, or would a couple of good exhaust fans, drawing cool breezes in the side windows, and out the roof be enough, and it would save you having to run the genset. (the fans use very little energy)
My vote, in hot NC.....skip a second fan, but have one in the bathroom....you'll want to get rid of those smells!! LOL

IMHO it will turn out to be one of the best, and most economical investments you will have made. Both from a cost and a comfort aspect. Acts like a house attic fan to pull air through the rig. We have one in the living area, and one in the bedroom....Brian

Put one in the bathroom and another in the living area; not in the bedroom where it would disturb your sleep. For cooling, turn on the one in the living area and open a window in the bedroom.
Use the one on the bathroom to exhaust the steam from the shower.
If you only want to add one put it in the living area.

We opted for the second fan. I thought it was going to be in the bunk house but it ended up in our bedroom. It is very nice.....and a bit noise. I don't mind the background noise but my wife doesn't care for it. It is nice to know that we can set the temperature and if it gets too hot, it automatically opens to cool it down.
My advice is to add to the rig.

We have one in our bedroom and would never be with out one. Great for nights that you need just a little cooling. We installed it ourselves.

Absolutely put one in th bedroom. You will enjoy the cool night air it will draw in, and you can turn down the speed so low that uyou will not even know it is running.

The Fantastic fans are one of the best accessories you will put in there. They are quiet you can get them in several configurations up to a fully remote controlled one. I added one of them in my current Alpenlite 5'er last fall as there was already one in the kitchen area.
I had one in my previous 1990 Class A that Fantastic Fan replaced control board in under warranty at age 15 years. That's correct they guaranty them for life. No questions asked just give them the serial number over the phone and they send to necessary part(s).
I don't know of any other company that I've dealt with in my 69 years that puts that does that. It was still going strong when I sold that rig last year.
Good product, good company you won't regret it.
