YUP!
Every MH I have owned has the water outlet directly over the electical, still bugs me to see this and connect them while standing on a damp, muddy CG site!.

Would it kill the RV builders to make the entry door a couple of inches wider?

Come on Ford, when I want to purchase new headlight lenses, what's with only making them available as a whole headlight assembly for $200.00 EACH.

My antenna crank is above the dinette...hard to reach, and when you open the cabinet door above the dinette you have to remember not to smack it into the antenna control.
How about an exposed rocker switch to raise or lower the legs w/o a key or an interior kill switch? Anyone walking by can take your rig up or down just for kicks.
I want to know who the bonehead was that decided the FLOOR was a good place to put a register vent! Not only do they get filled with dust, sand, and other stuff you don't want in there, but as my children can attest, the tines in them or whatever they're called, BREAK! I have to replace TWO of them in our 5er as when they break, they're SHARP and I don't want the dog cutting her paws on them!
Oh, and how about that WASTED space? There's a HUGE space above the refrigerator that just has a panel in front of it. How about making that a cabinet! DOH!
Oh, and on ours (first model year, of course), I can't open the pantry door all the way because of the decorative wood on the slide . . . I put a small piece of the "soft" side of velcro on the wood so that I don't bang up the pantry door by hitting the decorative corner . . . Annoying, to say the least!

I'm on set number 4. I switched to the plastic ones found at CW because they looked stonger with a tighter open pattern, wrong, they break just as quickly.
I am having a cabinet company make a set of them out of oak, stronger and they will look nicer.

The handle to our dump valve is right in the middle of our dining room slideout...so when it comes time to dump at the campsite, I have to crawl under the slideout to pull the handle!
The biggest bi@#* I have about my rig. Keystone really put a lot of thought into this one ...NOT!!

I'd LOVE to see what you come up with. My knees (...and the top of my head ...and the middle of my back) can't take it much more!
I see that your travel trailer was made in 1987. I don't think you are stepping on anyone's toes. It appears to me that the engineers and designers are just 20+ years younger than when your rig was built.
This must suggests that 'common sense' was lost somewhere between generations.
JMHO
I think you're onto something. I'm reading this and can't identify with any complaints except the registers in the floor. Our antenna is directly over the TV television!
I'm also 6'2" so the ceiling-mounted lights and vents are no problem.

Fortunately, I know a GREAT place to get them at a GREAT price!
