Am trying to figure out the easy way (without flooding the trailer) what this connections purpose is. It is located in the service compartment on my 2007 Keystone Challenger 29RKP. It is a water hose connection of some kind but as can be seen there is no identification markings what soever. the city water connection is accounted for, the fresh tank fill is accounted for, the sewer flush is accounted for, I am about to loose account of my mind, hook up the water and see what squirts out and where. My laboring over the documentation was futile, my contact with Keystone customer service produced the same results, more like a what are you talking about so it is time to make the forum rounds and check in with the knowledgeable people. We have used the trailer a couple of times since getting it last spring but there have been other things more important that chasing down a connection I haven't needed yet, but now it is time to start finding out what is what and what it does. Any help, ideas, wild &*% guesses will count towards my appreciation.

It`s probably the connection for antifreeze. There should be a valve to bypass the water heater there as well.

I would bet it is a winterizing connection.
When you are ready to winterize move the lever to winterize and attach a tube to this connection, that is submerged into RV antifreeze, and turn on the pump. It will pull antifreeze from the bottle and spread it throughout the water lines in the coach. Don't forget to bypass the hot water tank before winterizing or you will fill up that tank with antifreeze.

Thanks Screamingeagle for the quick reply, yes the w/h bypass is the two little levers just below that but this is a water hose connection so I did kind of rule out antifreeze.

outdoorsman, if you and Screamingeagle are right it sure would be a plus, last fall I was crawling around in the storage compartment disconnecting the inlet to the water pump jury rigging in a hose and hauling afreeze bottles in and out, if this is the case, sure wish they would have marked it.  In Northern Nevada winterizing isn't an option, it is a necessity every winter.

bobnev, They are right it is for winterizing your vehicle. If you levers are like mine they were mislabeled and I had to us a sharpie to correct them. Might want to check them out to ensure they work as advertised.

I have a 06 - 29RKP. I believe the connection you are talking about is for your black tank flusher.

On ours, the port for the tank flush is left of the fresh water fill. That is the winterizing port.

jjfay03, "ensure they work as advertised" you mean like "as seen on tv"........
ya mine are labeled wrong, figured that out the first week I had it, but I just couldn't pin down this extra connector, and could find absolutely no documentation on it.
Seems the consensus is that it is an anti freeze suckin port so no problems going with the masses on this, besides sure beats crawling around in a 2 foot storage compartment but I won't be able to try out the theory till fall, just de winterized it this weekend so I'm not excited about sucking in a gallon of anti freeze right now.
Thanks again all, as usual, forums run circles around customer support.

I got tired of seeing pink water run out of my faucets for half the season so I tried something different last year. Bought fittings to hook my air compressor up to the pressurised inlet and blew all the water out of the hoses. Worked great and didn't have to flush out antifreez in the spring.
