Spread peanut butter on both sides of the bread slice the banana up like pickle slices put the bread together spread a little butter on the outside of the bread and fry it in a skillet until lightly toasted. That was Elvis favorite sandwich.

TWO CENTS WORTH
The story goes that a man died and was approached by the Devil who told him that he could buy his soul back for a dollar. The man searched his pockets and could only come up with 98 cent. While begging the Devil to forget the two cent he was short, an Angel happened by and hearing the Devil laughing, asked the man, "Would you mind if I put in my two cents ?" The Devil got so mad that he exploded in a puff of smoke and the man's soul was saved.
The moral: Sometimes putting in your two cents worth makes a difference.

I like bananas --- I like peanut butter. I don't like bananas and peanut butter together. DW likes banana, peanut butter, and potato chip sandwiches. I had a deckhand on a tugboat I ran, who loved banana and bologna sandwiches with mayonnaise! To each his (or her) own.

I'm a bananas and mayo on whole wheat type also (the bananas have to be sliced in quarters lengthwise)! My grandson on the other hand HAS to have peanut butter and bananas and loves them sliced in quarter sizes and placed ALL over the sandwich so each area has the same amount! Now, where did he get his weirdness???

Now that I am all for... I love just plain banana slices and mayo on whole grain bread just as much as I love the peanut butter and banana mixture..

But I can't stand the idea of ruining perfectly good peanut butter by smearing mayonnaise on it.. YUK !!

This is almost the "sandwich" sold during Riverdogs games (baseball team in Charleston, SC), they put peanut butter on a hot dog roll and place a banana inside and then cover it with honey. They call this the Elvis because this is supposedly the Kings favorite sandwich (his being on bread as opposed to the bun though).
