Yeah, that darn light could mean anything or nothing, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Bob, I like the tape idea.

Hobo, why don't you get a part time job at a campground. Then you could solve both problems at the same time.

Maybe a Wal-Mart campground.

Well, today was better, headded out and had a good trip and mileage from yesterday was 10.1 and then the second tank from SLC to Green River was really bad.A lot of hills on Utah 6 and a LOT OF WIND.. Started losing power again after we left Spanish Fork and picked up the ticking noise again and will be taking it into the local dealer tomorrow.. If it's the same thing that it was before,I'm gonna get me a dealer in La Grande...
Fuel here is running between 4.60 and 4.89 for diesel and gas is all over the place,I've seen it as low as 4.09..
No,it won't stop me from buying wine, just slow me down and a little more twobuck chuck...

Chuck, sounds like you better get your tow chain out for BigDog. I hate having engine trouble anytime but I really hate it on the road. Keep us informed whats going on John and give a yell if you need something although you are getting a bit out of range now.

A winery in the Utah desert? Go figure.
I think Rt 6 is the way went to get down to Arches. Yeah, that was a fun road. NOT! But that was when we had our first half-ton Suburban. I think our current truck would do a better job towing on that road, but I doubt the gas mileage would be any better.

Okay, so all you guys that are going camping (or are already there), don't forget to take a pic of you and your rig to send to me for the rally yearbook. It's supposed to be nice weather all over the place, so even if you're not going camping, go take that pic for me...please. And yes, I'm gonna try and get our pic too.

Bigdog,

We stopped at that winery as we came north. Their reds weren't too bad and the price wasn't bad. Still have a couple of bottles left I think.

That museum was great wasn't it. That was why we went out there and then just had to taste the wine!

Keep on truckin.

Chuck, it looks like BigDog needs some looking after so you should probably keep an eye on him. Keep that tow cable close by and hide your credit cards if he breaks down again. Its going to be 90 here this weekend and its been nice ever since BigDog left so I think he should stay gone for a bit.
