I have two outside cargo doors that slide reward on their pivot points. They are the last two on the street side rear. They slide reward in time when travelling down the road. When they slide reward, the last door to the rear will rub the rear cap when opening the door. Anybody else have this problem? If yes, what did you do to fix it?

I'm not too familiar with how your door is mounted but can you put a small self tapping screw in the track to keep it positioned properly. Or maybe drill a hole in the track and put a small pin in there

I also have the same problem on my 2000 Fleetwood Southwind. on mine there are small metal tabs that are screwed into the door frame at the top that fit into a slot in the door hinge to prevent the door from sliding forward or backward. The tabs are screwed in with only one screw so they seem to rotate a bit and the door ends up out of alignment. I've tried to make a new tab that's long enough to put 2 screws in so that it won't move but haven't had much luck getting it bent just right so that it'll fit into the door slot and let the door hinge work right...still looking for a better solution.

On my Damon, a couple of doors liked to slide a bit, and bind when opening and closing. I fabricated spacers out of hard nylon/plactic chunks from the hardware store (intended use unknown). In any case, reposition the door, then install a spacer so that the door can't relocate itself in transit or just from using it. This solved my problem.

Thanks for all the replies. I will see if I can come up with my own fix. If not, I'll try one of the suggestions.
