Down to $2.49 a gallon. Sam's club will probably be at least 5 cents a gallon cheaper.

We are leaving on our 3 month trip next week, so expect the fuel prices to go back up. It always does for me.

Locally Shell is $2.26 but after a 400 mile run this week that was the lowest that I saw. Shell V-Power without alcohol is $2.52 without any discounts but saw it $2.84 with 10% mix in one place.

Anyone see the humor show 20/20 about oil prices last night?
First they show closing off refinery production, closing refineries, and they say driving up price...
Then they say speculation is big bad guy, greed driving up price and banks stockpiling oil in tanks and supertankers to drive down supply. Bad guys, bad guys.
Of course, this IS 20/20 so it nds with the shocker that we use 25% of the world's oil and we are 4% of population. Gasp (Uh, what percentage of the world economy are we??)! It turns out... (Wait for it!) ...WE are at fault because we use it!
Gosh, most required energy like electricity and nat gas are purposely run and regulated as utilities to prevent extortion BECAUSE they are necessary for our lives like, uh, gasoline?. Hmm, aren't we "BAD" for needing those, too?
PS: They showed trucks loading Citgo and going to all kinds of stations. Turns out, (act surprized), it is all the same gas: Exxon, Citgo, Shell, BP. Gee, and I thought that Techron really was helping!
On the other hand, an ex cia guy desribed how Iran has missiles aimed at Saudi oil to destroy the world economy in case their nuke plants are hit by Isreal... I just stopped being for that!

but shell has Nitrogen in it. since I put that in my tires I got 28% better gas mileage and my athlete's feet cleared up, it should work in gasoline.
