I was wondering if the external CATV hookup is isolated from the batwing antenna on most RV's. I rarely ever go where CATV is avaliable, but I want to use this connection maybe to connect up a TV outside the TT, like under the awning area, and receive signals that the batwing off-air antenna pick up. I could run a piece of coax underneath the rig to the awning side if it is.
As a general rule, they are isolated from the antenna circuit.

It connects to the TV Selection Switch in the entertainment center. You would have to remove it from the Cable connection on the back of the switch, then remove the Antenna In connection from the back of the switch, then connect the Antenna In cable to the in connection on a 2 - way splitter, then connect the Cable coax to one of the 2 out connections on the splitter, then connect a short coax from the other splitter out connection to the Antenna In on the TV Selection Switch.
Thanks Guys! Figured it out after I took it off the wall. It was kind of baffling me, because doing some basic checks with an ohm-meter, I couldn't get continuity to the jacks between the inside and outside jacks.
I disconnected the "Cable" line to the outside of the TT from the back of the plate like you said. Only, I moved it to the "2nd TV" connector on the back which was not being used. This way, I get an amplified signal to the outside jack as well as the inside, and continunity between the two jacks. Doing some continuity checks, I also found out that the little circuit board there places a 12 volt bias signal onto the coax to power the line amp in the batwing, so you don't want this going into your television.
