gave my slick old '90 model 2500 chevy 5.7 4.10 gears with 225000+ miles to my 16 year old grandson. Hard to believe he's 17 now and the old truck has 230000+ and still runs. I was surprised it would last that long with a 16-17 years old kid driving it. One tough truck.

"My TV has 135,000 miles and still goin'" Sounds like it is just getting broken in. There are many over the road vehicles that are a million miles or more. Recently near us some one turned over a million miles on a 1994 Silverado 2500. Most of the vehicles in this area don't wear out they rust out, thats why we are called the rust belt.
Figuring 40 miles per hour average, you have driven about 3375 hours. We figured the half life of a farm tractor to be 6000 hours, so you have a long ways yet to half life. You can start bragging when your truck hits 300,000 and then remember that Silverado.
