I seriously doubt they made it. way to much work to do when I drove through at end of April

Maybe this place will bring a little competition to FrontierTown. Even if it doesn't lower prices, maybe we won't have to book FrontierTown 12+ months in advance. We need a satisfaction report from anyone that stays at Castaways.

Island Resort is peaceful and quiet. If you don't mind the absence of CATV and WIFI, it is a great place. 15 to 20 minutes from OC. Great owners.

I did a drive thru, where I could the weekend of 5/17 and things are moving along, but they have a ways to go. The sites by the water look complete, with paved sites and nice plants. It looks like the main road thruout the CG has been paved, and alot of the sites have been prepped. Looks like more work has to be done to the buildings they started, and alot of the sites still need electrical hookup etc. One thing for sure, when they get it done, it looks like it will be a very nice place. We will cross our fingers that they can open in June. Hope they have someone working on it this weekend as the weather is suppose to be close to perfect. One thing for sure, it pleases me in today's economy, to still see Campgrounds being built and some expanded.
