"As a laundry additive, Calgon water softener is in demand only in areas with hard water. If you live in an area with soft water, it will be difficult to find. Stores just won't stock an item that doesn't sell. Many of the past threads on this topic have included a site for ordering it online."
-I think I must be in one of those areas, no store in my area seems to have it or heard of it. Just after I posted my questions I found some of the posts tellingt how to order it on line. thanks!

Hi, I can't seem to find calgon in my area (SE MO) what does it look like, in what section of the store/walmart can it be found. is there another name for it?
thanks!
I bought it today at my Super Wally World for $4.27, but it wasn't easy to spot. I found it in the area with fabric softeners. It's a white, plastic container with a blue label that has a rainbow on it. It looks like this. Happy hunting!

We use Calgon and a cup or so of laundry detergent. No other products.

I do as well and have no odor problems.
