Greetings,

DW and I are about to pick-up our new 5er and I was wondering about insurance. What should we consider when buying RV insurance? What insurance company would you recommend for RV insurance? Thanks

Always start with your present insurance company. Then, get your local Yellow Pages and start telephoning--you might even find a better deal for your present insurance needs from a different outfit. Keep in mind that we don't want the cheapest insurance. We want the cheapest insurance from a company that promptly pays legit claims. (And they're all dragging their feet paying claims these days.) You can then try the ones listed in the link alpen shows.

I'm free of prostate cancer for 5 years now.
All men over age 50 should get an annual PSA blood test. Mine had a low reading, but the yearly jump was significant. The biopsy showed cancer just entering the aggressive stage. Dr. Hackenslash removed it.

Any recommendation will vary by state. AARP serves as a home and auto insurance agent for The Hartford. AARP gets paid by the insurance company the same as any agent. Check AARP as well as any other agent for the best insurance value for you combined with the best service. (Don't assume that AARP is working for you...the top dogs at AARP are clearly working for the benefit of their own paychecks, and you might or might not get some benefits by riding their coattails.)

I have AARP and added my TH to my auto policy for next to nothing. I doubt you'll find a better price for insurance.

Check out this article:

How to Understand RV Insurance Coverage

It doesn't specifically recommend a company but has some good explanations about what type of coverages should be considered.
