So as of today me and my BF are the proud new owners of a 2008 Aerolite Cub 185. Can't wait to go camping with it next weekend.

Hurray for you two! Have lots of fun. Our model 192 is very similar to your floor plan and though we just got ours, we just love it. Best of luck

Do you have the new style tent ends (lack of a better term). Ours have it and I am a little worried that they wont be as good as the standard ones. It seems the windows aren't as big and I went to sleep last night thinking that the airflow will suck because of it.

Congratulations on your new purchase and it is nice to hear another Ontarioan is going to be hybriding. We love ours and just got back today from our 4th weekend away this spring already. I am so addicted to camping now and I am sure that you will enjoy yours as much as we have enjoyed ours so far.
Happy Camping!!!!

Sorry we do not know new style from old style and have only camped in ours once since we got it. Bought it 10 days ago and it was very windy for the two days we were camping. Ventilation did not seem to be an issue for us so far.

Sorry, I should have mentioned - the new style Therma-Rest tent ends. Apparently they are new for the Cub. I have done a lot of on-line research about them, but still would like to hear from some one that has them if they are happy.

We had already started our camping season with our newly purchased Tent Trailer. First weekend (May 5th) we went to the Kitchener/Waterloo area and we had rain like I had never seen rain before. Second weekend we were in Flamborough and it was alright but very windy and very buggy. Then last weekend we were in Niagara Falls and it was windy, cold and raining. I think this is what caused us to want a bigger trailer.

We just couldn't fit the two of us, all our "stuff" and the three dogs in the 8 foot tent trailer. The dogs ended up in a make-shift X-Pen Tent and we ended up under umbrellas in rain gear huddled around the fire. It would have been nice to have the option to sit in the trailer and watch a couple movies all cuddled up in the bed with the dogs. So on the way home from the last trip we stop off a dealership and started looking. We only looked for one week.

The first day we looked we picked a floor plan we liked at the dealership, second day we did on-line research on manufactures. I had heard of Dutchman before, but not Thor. Then the third day we went on-line again and found the best price with in a 2 hour drive. The fourth day we called the dealership and got that best price lowered, did the financing stuff and then told them about our trade. Ended up losing about $500 on the trade but we made that up on the price of the new trailer. The fourth day we took a break, then the 5th day I drove to Barrie to see the trailer in person and compared it to the other models on the lot, then signed the papers. It was a very crazy week since in the mids of all that it was also Month End at work.

I really hate it when work gets in the way of my camping preparation.

I have noticed that most of you have the Bunk End Gizmos. I was wondering if they would work on the Therm-A-Rest bunk ends?

I'd email or call the guy at popupgizmos to get your answer. I've read on here that he's excellent with customer support.
