I would not accept a used one with parts missing.

The tow bar may be very good from a small, reputable company, but that doesn't mean this character is legitimate. Allows listen to your gut feelings.

I would certainly echo the great comments.
We have not had ours for a real lengthy time but made one nearly 4,000
mile trip with great success.
Give Tod Westerveldt a call at the 800 number at Night Shift Auto.
Sorry but I am away from my index of numbers or I'd give it to you.
He is great to deal with and will give you very good service.

Like others have said I would be a bit gun shy of the gent that is trying to sell an older used tow bar system. He might be good as gold but I would still be apprehensive.

Great tow bar and brake system but.......this "guy" might not be the best source to purchase one. They do sell them direct I believe it's going to be priced the same as one of their legit dealers. I elected to purchase from my local dealer and pay for the install.
