I just setup my 6v battery bank in my hauler, and want to make sure that my plans on wiring it are correct. I made a generic pic in MS Paint, but cant get it to load into a message. The process seems to be a hassle for this newbie.

Is there an easier way to load a pic into a message here or can I email someone directly to look over what I have and give me some advise or reassurance?

Thanks A Lot!!

As long as you create a 12 volt battery by connecting the two batteries positive to negative you are ready to go. Then connect the cables to the open positive and negative terminals same as they were on the previous 12 volter. Nothing should be on the interconnect cable that joins the two batteries.

How many batteries do you have? I have four 6 volts. YOu just connect two so they are like one giant 12 volt, with an empty pos and neg. Then you take the two pos left over and connect those together, and the two negs that are left and connect those.

Well sounds like I did what I was supposed to, and everything works. Hooked up 4 U2200's and seems to be okay. Might try to get some heavier guage cables someday, bit for now all is a go.

Thanks everyone for the useful info!!

I think those are just run of the mill plastic bins from Office Depot with the lids removed. The other post with the Allied fisheries link has boxes, but they still wouldnt fit in my WW. I moved the propane tanks over and rotated them 90 degrees, then made a new shelf for 4 batts without a box.
