Thanks to all who have servered and who are now serving.
My thoughts to those in harms way, may the voices of courage and not discourage find you safely home.

Thank God for our volunteer Armed Forces, present and past. My DS was there not too long ago.

VETERANS - All gave some, some gave All! Thank you VETERANS! I only wish our younger generation understood what our past and present military has done for them.

I went to see my grandparents this weekend, my grandfather was a Marine on the beaches of Iwo Jima and Tarawa. Going around the DC beltway, the Patriot's Guard was riding, about 500+ strong. Almost every bike was flying a POW/MIA flag or American flag. The final rider had a HUGE flag stating 'We ride until they all come home'. It was really inspiring. As a Naval Officer, I was really happy to see them doing it and the honking support of all the other people on the road.

I think Budweiser was able to state it so well in that commercial a couple of years ago, where the uniformed soldiers walked into an airport terminal with their seabags and everyone gave them a standing ovation. Every time my wife or mother see that commercial, they break down sobbing.
