We are from PA, and would like to spend time someplace warm the winter of 2009. Florida, South Carolina, or Arizona. We like a place that we can walk, bike, golf, and spend time at the beach or lake. Probably go for a minimum of 2 months. What are your favorites?

Check out Dunedin RV Resort, Dunedin, FL. It's across a 2-lane highway from a bike path and a farmers market, a few miles from Tarpon Springs where you can get good Greek food and buy sponges right from the ocean, about two miles (bikeable) from the beach, etc. etc.
It's popular, what isn't in Florida in the winter, so get your request in early.
We have our reservation already for next January.
For more ideas you can search this Forum for words like `Florida' then `winter', etc.

I would take SC off your list if you are looking for someplace warm.
My recommendation would be south Florida or the Keys.
Even mid to upper Florida can be mighty cool in the winter.

Your warmest winter weather will be anywhere south of the big lake -- from West Palm Beach in the east to Fort Myers on the west coast.

I have lots of questions concerning Florida CGs. My sister goes to Florida every year, and basically hops all over the state at different CG's, some state parks,... My husband and I are looking for a CG that we can meet people, golf, walk, bike, maybe a fitness facility, relax, beach, pool. I don't know if it is better to stay off the beach and maybe find more of these things, then ride or bike to the beach. Also not sure about the keys, for a week? and then maybe a month or two at one place. Thanks for the ideas on CG's they look very nice. I forgot to mention that I will be finishing chemo in November, so want to get fit and relax.
