I will be doing more. I did the kids bunks, (the lower ones), so I do noty have to hear them metal blinds all night. Might as well have a cow bwll tied to their ankles. It is the limo tint, and it is hard to see inside unless it is dark out and the lights are on, but we will be getting some curtains for that. And I figure heading to the Grand Canyon this tint may help keep it a litle coooler too.

That turned out nice. I just did the window next to my sons bunk the other day to help keep it cooler. I used 5% limo tint, what % did you use?

This was like %20,Limo. Since we are headed to the Grand Canyon I hope this may help keep the heat down. I may end up doing all of the windows.

We ordered our trailer with tinted windows. I would not have it any other way. Just love them.

We had a tint shop do every window in our HTT. It was the best $80 we ever spent. South Texas gets so hot, so any little bit helps.

That is a darn good price. It cost that much to do 3 car windows here. I will have almost that much in tint alone, well about 40 to 50 bucks in tint.

I bought the tint at Wal Mart. But the tint I used in the house came from Lowes. A spray bottle of soapy water, squeegee. And a lot of patience. Now I did get a few specks of dust in mine, even though I cleaned the windows 2 times, it only shows up close.

We purchased the tint from Home Depot, clean the window really good and scrap any residue from painting off. Soap up both sides of the ting once you have removed the protective film. You can use 2 pieces of masking tape one on each side to seperate the film. once you have seperated it and soaped it up with a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water 1x2 you can put the film on the windo=w and get the air bubbles out with a squeege. Work from the middle out. Let the film dry 24/48 hours. We did our house and also all windows of the camper. We used the silver back film at Home Depot. You can tell the difference in just a few minutes. It keeps the heat out and the cool in.

You can't go wrong using Gila brand films. Most of the pro tinters use them. Some tips of the pros:

- Use only regular Johnson's Baby Shampoo for the soap and distilled water to mix.
- Wash and scrape 100% of the window surface with a straight razor blade.
- Wash again and use a lint-free microfiber cloth to polish.
- Do NOT cut the film tight to the glazing vinyl. The film expands and contracts and needs room to move, usually 1/16" all the way around is sufficient.
- Apply soap solution to BOTH the window glass and film before applying.
- Squeegie from the center to the edges in a radial fashion being careful to not distort the film by stretching.
- For tricky shapes use a heat gun on the outside of the glass around the edges to get the film to tack there and shrink towards the center.
