trailer is an 05 and all 4 tires are dry rot. blew out one on the way home this weekend so the move is to replace all 4. tire size is st205/75d 15. i priced out a set for 60 bucks apiece for hercules. any suggetions on changing size. i understand that what i have is a 6 ply. need something that is going to last longer than what i got out of the manufactor tires.

I was looking for Titan Tires since they are Made in USA but no dealers around here carry the ST tires. I then found this On Line Store In the search window type in Trailer and it will list ST tires. You may have a Titan dealer in your area.

If you have the room between the tires and the wheel well, I would upgrade the size and go with an E rated tire. Good luck.

If you change load rating, be sure to make sure your WHEELS can stand the added pressure. You may need to buy wheels also. Rating is usually either on back, or under tire in well.

If it was mine, I'd not buy Chinese tires.

Do you need to increase load range? Depends on actually fully loaded TT weight versus tire capability. Dry Rot is NOT a function of load range. Usually means lots of UV and no tire covers used when stored.

I sure messed up. Ordered some Titan tires and they arrived today.
They are MADE IN CHINA. The distributors web site says Made in USA.
I had also looked at Cabela's web site and it says Made in USA. I think I will refer this to my States Attorneys Office. Looks like Mail Fraud.
