Oh and another quick question... Can you overlap to cover the width or should I get a roll that will cover the width in one piece?

You can overlap or buy wider eternabond but it will cost you.

Well, since Sean has found the correct answer....anyone know what the shelf life of Eternabond is? After having to pull into a spot with snow covered tree limbs hanging low last weekend, I wished I had a roll just in case. Would hate to have it dried up when I needed it.
BTW Sean you're not the only one with issues. Lately it seems like every time I pull to higher elevations, my truck needs to be brought into the shop to get something fixed.
It's just part of the "fun" of RVing

I bought a big roll and keep it in the fiver. I have had it for three years now and it is not showing any signs of drying out. I also intend to use it to replace the dicor caulk on the roof soon. I have helped out fellow RVers with short pieces and they loved me for it.

Last year when I was staying at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in Myrtle Beach, the Columbia newspaper had a big article about food prices from 2000 to 2007 in South Carolina. According to the article, Walmart opened a series of Super Centers in that time period in the area & the effect was so enormous that there was much lower increase in cost of living in that area than in areas not served by Walmart Super Centers. I hate seeing local businesses go out of business but why would anyone pay substantially more for the same products elsewhere. Do you go to the small RV Dealer to buy your RV if their selling price is substantially higher than the larger dealer? I am tired of people attacking Walmart. I'll bet most who do still shop at Walmart or do look for the best price when they shop for anything & everything. If you are one of the few who doesn't I tip my hat to you for sticking to your principles. Just remember if you have that approach for Walmart you should do the same for every place you shop.

I agree with John b lets keep this to what the OPS problem was, and I don't remember reading anything about wal-mart in his opening statement?? I bet that you can start a Wal-mart bashing thread over in the around the campfire section.

Thanks for the response Jason. It's probably best to carry a roll just in case. As a matter of fact, there are a couple areas where my antenna folds down that possibly could use a bit of reinforcement.
So off to Wal*mart I go

Question: for repairs, can the Eternabond be used on a TPO (vinyl) roof?
