Do you take turns with your partner sleeping on the outside or always sleep in the same place. Since I'm the one who sleeps on the outside because I tend to get up at night I'm also the one who gets up with the dogs in the morning. It makes sense that whomever sleeps on the outside would do that job.

Does you position in the bed determine your morning chores?

So hard to avoid making jokes on this one, but we tend to sleep in the same order that we sleep at home. If we are both lying on our backs, my wife is always to my left. This was true in our tent and pop-up days as well.

With a 3 year old alarm clock, we tend to get up together EVERY morning

We do now, but we didn't for years in the tent(bed towards one wall, suitcases/clothes on the other side) or in the pop-up.

And you are right - it will be fun to read these

This was the number ONE reason we got a rig with a walk around bed. We played that game too often in the pop-up! Back then, I was on the outside as I got up early and often. :-)

We sleep on the same side of the bed as we do at home.

We sleep in the same position we do at home, I'm actually further from the door, but I'm the one that will get up with the dogs. Partly because I spoil them and I'll take them out before I do anything else, but also, I can convince myself it was all a bad dream having to get out of bed and I'll come back in and go back to sleep. If my husband had to walk the dogs that would be it, he'd be up, and if he's up, I'm up.

Its a known fact that whomever is on the inside will have to go to the bathroom as soon as the person on the outside falls asleep. At least its that way for us.
