Hi!! Its been a long time since I joined a forum...so bear with me as I bumble thru...We have 1960 Airstream that we bought 2 years ago and are renovating. I have been enjoying the posts as a guest, and decided to join up and share/glean knowledge and tricks of the trade.

Welcome to the vintage forum of RV.Net!!! Always nice to see new folks with old stuff. Since you've been around for awhile then you already know there are no dumb questions. But maybe a dumb answer now and then.

There are a few very nice "silver bullets" that hangout here.

WE have a 79 Silver Streak, that is named ST for Silver Twinkie. There are several Air Stream sites on the net.

Welcome! This is a good bunch and I'm sure you will enjoy the forums. I have been working on a 22' 1958 Airstream on and off (mostly off) for the past 10 years! We retire in two years to go fulltiming so I've got to get it done!! We have to sell it so I can get some fulltimers work done on the Alpenlite. Never ending Airstream project PS to Mitchcruiser: Nice job on your trailer!!

Hey! welcome to the (Vintage) forum. I have restored three trailers and one TC, one of which is a 65 Airstream Safari I restored, and its a never ending joy to work on. Kinda like restoring a antique car. I restored ours mostly for boondocking but with the GAP we get electric sites for $10.00 at NPs and COEs. After the COE parks close we use our Yamaha genny and free camping from Nov to April. Good luck with yours and have fun.

Thanks for the welcome!! I have never posted pics on a forum, so I will have to play a bit to figure out how to do it.
