Hi

Just home from Wal-Mart with a 6'x9' reversible Awning mat made by CamcoRV. I paid $50cdn

Is anyone using one of these? How is it working?

I'm going to keep it in the carry case until I see if their are any bad reviews!

Thanks

Ken

I assume you mean the plastice type, if so we have 4 of them and very satisfied. Easy to clean with a hose and usually just sweep off when leaving a camp site. We store ours in the plastic containers they sell at Christmas time for storing wrapping paper. That way if they are wet or damp when we leave it does not get our storage compartments dirty with sand, etc. Two of ours are over 4-6 years old.

Well I guess I'm the guy that got the lemon. I bought one a year ago and it lasted about one year. We dry camped all winter in the desert and by the time we left in May, I put it in the dumpster. It shredded at each crease where it was folded. I won't buy another. I bought a length of indor/outdoor carpet at Home Depot and installed grommets, it should last a few years. . . .I hope

Well.. I have an awning mat.. I don't know if it's a Camco or not

Two comments: When I'm camped on hard-pack, Dessert, Gravel, Pavement, Concrete, and the like, it's great

However if I'm no Grass I don't spread it out.. It kills grass fairly quickly

There are many different mats, Some claim to be "Grass friendly" NONE are.
