I am looking to purchase a new Montana 3400RL. Local dealer has a 2008 anniversary edition MSRP $67,916. He will sell it for $42,500. Is that a good deal?

Ditto! Those 3400 are really nice. We have a Montana 3255, and have really enjoyed it. Looked at the 3400, liked it or the 3500. I read a article in the local paper today about RV's. They said they are mostly selling the smaller trailers or used right now. Guess that's due to the gas/diesel needed to haul the bigger units. If you can afford the diesel to haul it, very good buy.

This is a good deal. We paid about the same for the 3400RL in 06. Its a great unit; good floor plan, nice storage.

Sounds good to me. Dealer in this area quoted 48k for the same trailer, and I don't think any difference in options would add up to that much. If you can afford the fuel, go for it.

Good luck and hope the deal goes through. If it does you might like to try the montanaowners.com website. They are very informative and it is pretty much Montana specific.

We love our 08 Montana 3000RK. Your price for the 3400RL sounds good.

Great price for a 3400, especially the anniversary edition.

If you want it you had better jump! I feel like I got a fair deal, but not that good. We love our 2008 3400RL (Not anniversary edition but nicely equiped). Happy camping.
