Does anyone have any ideas for an overnite stay somewhere between Indy and Gettysburg. We just bought a new 5'er and we will be heading to Gettysburg in Sept. Looking for something that will take a 37 ft Moblie Suites. Can't seem to find anything...........

Thanks

There's not a lot midway between those 2 places. We camped last year in Barkcamp SP,just off I-70 in eastern Ohio; nice place, and there may be a few sites that could fit you (we had a hybrid trailer that opened to about 25', and had enough room there). There are some KOAs in western PA that might accommodate; one isn't far from I-76.

Friendship Village in Bedford, Pa., however it is not midway. In another 2 hours you would be in Gettysburg.

We have stayed at both the Madison KOA and the Washington KOA off I-70 in PA (near Pittsburg). Madison has the best sites for an overnight stop if you take one of the pull thru sites at the bottom of the hill with no sewer hookups. The rest of the sites are on hills and it is very difficult to get in or out without damaging your rig.

we stayed in the "service plaza" on the Penn Turnpike once. Plenty fo room, and worked out well for a place to sleep. The price was right too.

Try Spring Valley CG in Cambridge, OH. The pull thru sites are large.
You will get highway noise from I-70 but it is bearable. We have used it for overnight.
