What do you fulltimers do when you visit family and there are no campgrounds and no room on their property but are staying with them,
where do you park the motorhome? I am talking about a month stay.

We visit family and friends all over the country. We always sleep in our motorhome. I know that some areas have rules about parking motor homes in the street but we haven't had any problems. We've stayed in San Antonio , Seattle ,
Santa Fe and Albuquerque on the street and in driveways in Pittsburgh and Washington ,DC for long periods of time. If there are no parking options in the neighborhood , try the local Wal Mart.

We would be at Wal-Mart, sleeping in our mh. Actually, last Christmas Eve, we came through our "old" hometown to see our children. The cg was full, my ds lives on a mountain with no place for us; so, we spent Christmas at Wal-Mart.

Not too sure I understand your question. Are you asking where to park and stay in your MH for a month? Or where you can store an MH for a month while staying with relatives?

I park in the driveway and plug in to their power. Water from the yard spigot to fill the onboard tank. Dumping involves driving down the alley as needed and taking the cap off the 4" clean out pipe.
I'd park in the street if there wasn't room in the driveway.

If you want to stay in the rv you may have to use the street, provided it's not too narrow or busy. Otherwise you might look into a storage lot for the month.

We always find some place, even if it is many miles away. We have a rather large rig and driveways are not an option. We have never "not" found a cg of some sort...maybe not the best, but we make do.

Where in the world did you stay? The Washington DC metro area is so unfriendly to RVs it would be interesting to know if it was in DC or the suburbs. Thanks!
For us, we do not stay as long a time to visit family. So we can usually stay in the house.

For a whole month?! I hope no one here would for even a moment consider staying at a Wal Mart for more than an overnight stop!
