I've listed my RV on Craigslist and RV trader, haven't used the local paper yet. Any other ideas for facilitating a sale?

I just drove the route from Portland to Bend last weekend...saw a bazillion RV dealers...might consider consignment.

I know there will be objections about the cut they take, etc, but there is a convenience factor.

We recently sold an '03 Nash 26ft trailer. The calls we got through Craig's list were 'unusual'. Our newspaper ad in the largest city near us resulted in several calls and the sale. We used a picture and lots of info in the ad that seemed to catch attention. Good luck!

I sold a TT several years back using our local news paper. I had listed it on RV-online with no results. Nothing against the o-line sales sites but I'm guessing people find it much more convienient to be able to actually see it in person than have to rely on an o-line ad for something several hundred miles away. I'd don't know how populated the area you live in is, but I'd try the local news paper ad's first. I do think Craig's List is good though.....

We just sold our A MH from Craigslist. We also had it on rv-trader online. Got calls from both. Took really good pix on a sunny day, our MH had low mileage, and we spiffed it up-everything worked perfectly. Took about 12 weeks, though to get our price. Good luck!

Just sold my 5er using Craigslist-got a number of calls. Also advertised in local major newspaper and got no calls.

We just sold our 5th wheel on rvtrader.com after one week. If that had not worked I was going to take it to PPL in Houston to have them list it.

Had a 24 ft prowler on graigslist and got what I wanted for it. Lots of calls. The only thing is after a couple days most people delete their add and relist so it comes back on the top of the list which grows fast. After putting on the list within 2 or3 days your add is on page 5 and the calls drop off.
