The only Composting Toilet that I have seen in an RV was in a Bus Conversion. The Owner seemed pretty Happy , but We noticed a distinctive and Unpleasant Odor in the Vehicle!
Perhaps My Nose is a bit more sensitive, or maybe the Fellow was just used to the aroma!
I was curious , as everything that I have read indicates that these things work Very well in Cabins and such! And if Odorless would be great for Boondockers!

I used a composting toilet for quite a few years while living remotely in the mountains. This was in a log cabin not an RV.
It worked fine in the cabin as we also lived on solar power it saved a lot of water pumping and the need for a septic tank. It was way better then a outhouse at 20 or more below zero.
If the compost is not healthy it will have a unpleasant odor. If it dies the odor will be more then unpleasant and so will to work to correct the reason the compost died.
Thinking back on it's operation I have to say that I will stay with my black tank and dump stations. There is more work involved with a composting toilet then meets the eye.
I suggest you read the operating instructions and specifications closely to insure that you can meet them in your planned RV use.
