any Fleetwood Evolution owners out there? Does the stock power converter also include a 12V charger on board? My buddy owns an 2007 Evolution (it's closed right now and not accessible) and doesn't know for sure and can't find his manual. Thanks in advance!

Unless I misunderstand your question, the answer would be yes. The converter is what charges the 12 volt coach battery when you plug the trailer into 110 AC.

Thanks Ron, I know his power pack has a converter which changes the 110AC to 12VDC, but in my fleetwood, it does not charge the battery. The battery charging function is not a given in most converters, the power pack must also have a charger built in. I'm assuming from your post (and I see you have an evolution) that your power pack indeed contains the charger which charges your battery?

Fleetwood switched to the WFCO converters with integral 3 stage charging in mid 2002 model year. The other makers all promptly followed.

Works great for us. Same Walmart G27 deep cycle since spring of 04 with no issues.
