Chevy Tracker 4x4 BlueOx Aventa LX We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned,
so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
Over a year ago I replaces our original Blue Ox tow bar with a new Aventa. The previous unit had over 70K tow miles and I felt it was time for a replacement. The LX has performed flawlessly. My view is that although I'm only pulling around 4600 pounds, I have over a 50% safety margin rather than an 8% margin. Since we tow in remote areas such as Alaska and do rather long runs on unpaved roads I am more comfortable knowing I have a wide margin.
Sort of a belt and suspenders guy.

I went with the Aladdin because it suited my requirements for towing weight (under 5k lbs) and overall weight of the unit itself. I have never been disappointed. I have never necessarily subscribed to the theory that more is better.
The Alladin is an aluminum towbar with a 5,000 lb. rating and will probably cost more than the Aventa LX which is rated at 10,000 and is an all steel towbar.
The weight of the towbar would make little difference to me.
I purchased the heavier rated towbar and I am glad I did when I decided to go with a heavier toad.

We had the aladdin, when we started, but it broke, one of the arms just broke, blue ox mailed us a new replace, and sent our broke bar out for evaluation, well to make this short the VP at blue ox called me and said it was nothing we did wrong and ask how we felt about them sending us the aventa. Do they have a problem, I dont know but since then we have met other that have broke one. We tow a 3500lb jeep.
