It's a short distance, but could save hours getting there from here.
Narrow roads don't really bother me as long as they are in fairly good shape. As you can see I'm pulling a 33' fifth wheel and if it's regularly used by the semi's I won't have a problem.
Any comments from those that have been there will be appreciated.
It's uphill all the way from Camp Verde at about 3200 feet to hwy 87 (?) which reaches above 7000 ft and then drops to the approx 5000 ft at Payson. We've been over it with TT and with TC and just truck. Good road, nice scenery, some spots where the San Francisco peaks can be seen. If you don't mind the longish uphill, shouldn't be a problem.

As stated above: the road is in good condition, well maintained and traveled. There are no narrow sections of any concern. It is winding, but no sharp turns. There are grades both uphill and downhill, but nothing too extreme. Nice scenery.

I went up it so fast with my supercharged 1/2 ton chev. pulling the 5th wheel I was there before I knew it.
2005 Chev 5.3 Supercharged 395HP 425 T hp. Two wheels on front, 2 on back. one seat, tint windows. front and rear bumpers, headlights, windows. Door on each side. Heater, floor mats, junk behind seats, some dirt. Pulls so hard.
