Tiffin is a good product. Being just 2 hours from me I think they do a good job, but sometime they get a little off base on decorating, but good quality. I went with Monaco when I was looking. Tiffin is getting a little pricey and I felt that the Monaco Knight I got was a much better deal.

Try to give you some of my thoughts, as I am sure that they will not be what some others will agree with but they are from my experience.
1. I drive a 40 ft. with 350 hp and 860 lb/ft torque. I find it adequate towing a feathterlite trailer with a PT Cruiser or Toyota Pickup in the mountains.
2. I am not familiar with this model.
3. Tiffin is generally a good quality product but like any product you have to look at it carefully at delivery. Man built it and men make mistakes.
4. Depending on how the dealer handles the trade, if he gives you wholesale for your trade, then look for 25 to 28 percent off msrp. Watch our for inflated MSRP stickers. There may be some manufacturer incentives involved that you will not know about so be agressive in your dealing.

Yes, with this combo you should not have any problems. I do it with less.

If we were buying today it would be at the top of our list.
I think the Phaeton (rear radiator)is the entry level and the Bus (side radiator) is the higher level.
We have a 36 footer and like it just fine. As I recall this 36 footer is a new product from Tiffin.

There have been a lot of upgrades on the 09 Phaeton. The propane tank has been moved to passenger side front bay and batteries have been moved to drivers side front bay. This moves the weight around for better balance. There have been a lot more that I can't recall at the moment.

I would highly suggest that you register with, and read the Tiffin owners forum before purchase. www.tiffinrvnetwork.com . There you will get a lot of info directly from those who own one of these coaches.

Seem like a lot of weight moved to the front Axle too me. Why do you say that? It takes the weight from the right rear and moves it to the left front for better balance. How much does 4 6 volt batteries weigh? If your front axle is that close to being overloaded you are in trouble.
