I've noticed that my toilet does not make a "direct deposit" because I can see water down in the bottom. Does anyone know if this is normal? Does it dump to sub-tank or something before it goes to the main black tank? I have the enclosed underbelly so I can't really see what's going on.

On that unit the black tank is directly below the commode. Which I prefer so I can see whats going on down there if I want to.

What makes you think thats not the black tank?

I think I'm messed up because I can't see the tanke due to the enclosed underbelly. I took a tape measure and made a rough measurement and the bottom of the trailer in no where near as deep below the floor as I thought it was

I think your tank is directly below the toilet.
