I'm in the market for a GPS at a good price for my MH and Toad. I use military campgrounds whenever I can, so I need to be able to input the latitude and longitude numbers into the GPS. Thanks in advance for your help. Your friend Houston

I really like my Garman Nuvi 680. It has lat/lon input.

I love our Garmin Nuvi 750. You can transfer routes from the Mapsource program on your computer to the 750, a real boon IMO.

Hey Houston,

WOW, will you get a lot of opinions on this question. And I'm sure a "search" will turn up a zillion more opinions. But anyway, I have Garmin Nuvi 350 and it has the longatude/latitude setting. My model also has the car, truck or bus mode. I run in "truck" mode. Chris (2oldman) has a Garmin Nuvi 750 I think it is. I know he has a larger viewing screen than I do. And you definately want one that talks.

I seen on TV that Garmin has came out with a Nuvi that you can talk too, can't remember the model number but sounds like it may be the way to go. Maybe get on Garmins web site for more information.
Good Luck

Do you own a motorcycle or Jeep/Toyota? The Garmin Zumo's are awesome. However, if you don't need waterproof, probably the Nuvi series would be enough.

Compare the new Nuvi 5000 with some of the other Garmins.
The Garmin website under automotive gps lists all their units with side by side comparison.
The Nuvi 5000 gets my vote. A large screen, but not quite as large as their 72/7500 model

The Tom Tom One 3rd Edition makes it easy to enter lat/lon destinations.

How much do you want to spend?
For 200 dollars you can get the Garmin Nuvi 200 for a lot more you can get a lot more.
