Not real beer.
Beck's is about $7 for 6-pack.

I think more appropriate question would be "Who's mistakes we all are paying for?"
Than the changes are already on their way. No guarantee for better, but changes.

plain and simple, The people who used their homes equity as a piggy bank to buy non-esential items, period.
This IS what started all of this, and don't give me that it's the banks/mortgage company's fault for giving it to them.
They knew exactly what they were doing without any thought of what would happen when they could't pay a first, second, and third mortgage on their home.
I can't even wrap my brain around what it would be like to have 3 mortgages on my home, WHAT WERE these stupid people thinking?

The only decisive action a consumer can take is to consume less. Those that choose gas hogs to drive and also complain about their choices, are as much of their own problem as the Sierra Club.
The government is only somewhat proficient at two things, taxing, and National security. Anyone thinking they will solve your gas pains is deluded. All the speech rhetoric is pure BS from both the candidates.
Solving any problems in the marketplace have always come from the marketplace itself.
Until the marketplace offers better choices, driving a gas hog is driving what the individual deserves.

I'm sure the beer manufacturers are delighted. When the economy goes south, alcohol sales tend to improve. Think I'll stick with martinis. Gin all the way from from England, Vermouth from Italy, olives from Spain, yet the cost/buzz ratio is comparable to domestic beer. Go figure...
Drink globally, yak locally!

I guess it is much easier to see what is across the street, than what is across the Globe.
I think those billions of $$ spend on another continents are hard to notice?
Than why blame consumers for artificially low prime rates and resulting inflation?
