1. rotochocks
2. king pin stabilizer
3. NO slide stabilizers

Been there and done that. Just skip the King Pin stabalizer and go right to the rotochocks and JT Strongarms. There is a MASSIVE difference between the JT'S over the King Pin stabalizer. In fact, I'll give you my King Pin Stabalizer if you want to pick it up but you still won't be happy.

Can I install the JT's myself, or is it best to have it done? I think the drilling into the frame might be a job for a old retired guy.

With all due respect, save your money on all those other things and get you a set of JTs Strong Arms. Some say they are expensive, but for me (and others here) they were well worth the $299. My 5er had a lot of wiggle, but now it's rock solid.

I got mine at rvwholesalers.com Took me about 2 hours to install.

Do a search for JTs and you will see all the happy campers that use them.

I see the picture of the 5er on the JT website has the stabilizers on both the front telescopic jacks and rear scissor jacks is this what your set-up is for $299 ???

Yep, you get 6 stabilizing arms (use 4 in the front and 2 for the back) for $299 (with free shipping from RV Wholesalers).

Traveler II - I'm an old guy of 61 and I installed mine with no problem. Just make sure you buy new, sharp drill bits. I used the self-tapping bolts, which took a lot of effort to get installed. Some people on here use a tap to thread the hole, then install the bolt, which is easier.

Bottom line -- they work as advertised.

Yes the JT's work as advertised. DW is happy that the 5er is rock solid which makes for a happy camping trip.

Excellent thanks....unfortunately RV Wholesalers parts department is out of commission for a while hopefully the price will be the same when they're back up and running.

Quint Da Man,
There are other retailers for JT Stabilizers out there. Do a google and you will find at least one deal at the same price, after shipping and hanling. I can't remember the competition, but there was another place out there who had the stabilizers for less money, but after shipping they were virtually the same price.

Or, you could contact JTRV directly and they may be able to sell directly to you, and send the commission to rvwholesalers.com. That is what I did when I was unable to make an order on mine due to back orders at the time. JT's sent them to me and they were at my door in 3 days for $299.

Exactly right. And that is a great point (no pun intended) about the new, sharp bits!!
