Hi

I lost a kids bike, walked back to get it and found a brand new Snap On screw driver, turned out to be worth more than the bike!

How 'bout an "almost lost"? I saw this one day as I was leaving town, passing thru ritzy Biltmore Forest. I suppose the cargo strap that's over the roof loosened up just a tiny bit....

I stopped to offer to help, but there was no one around. Maybe he had a heart attack trying to push it back on? Or when it nearly came off? Yep, that's the headliner coming down in front.

EWWWWWWWWWWW! That's just beyond nasty. Yick, yick.

One time I was following a TT that had a cell phone sitting on the back bumper. The driver ignored repeated honking and flashing highbeams, probably figuring I was just mad because I was stuck behind him.

It lasted about 20 miles before finally falling off. It turned into MANY pieces at that point, so I didn't bother picking it up or continue trying to get their attention since it was well beyond a lost cause.

My cousin looked at our truck bumper and picked up the pry bar for the weight distro hitch and asked if that was something important.

We lived in Wichita Falls for 17 years!!!! Are you from there?

I was born in Seymour and lived there until I was in 1st grade(1977). We then moved 20 miles west of Haskell, (Old Glory). I still have quite a bit of family in the WF, Seymour and Haskell areas.

We used to go to Sheppard when my husband was stationed at Dyess in Abilene to shop at the BX. At that time my grandparents lived between Seymour and Goree so they would babysit for us to have a weekend get-away.

I've seen more than a couple coolers alongside the road, a water cooler (the round kind that DOT often uses) a sewer hose, and the top half of a car top carrier! I've also seen a couple gas cans (different sizes) that were obviously no longer needed!

And just recently saw a blue thing laying in the road. It turned out to be 2 of those plastic boxes that light switches screw into. They sit inside the wall, all you see is the switch.

So THAT is where I lost those. I own a construction company, things are always bailing off the truck. I recently had a couple flag me down, pointing at the back of the truck. Duh, I had sprouted a 100' long extension cord tail. Wasn't much good by the time I got stopped.

I ran across about two cases worth of those blue outlet boxes scattered across the highway on the way to work one morning.

The scary part is that each box has two rather large NAILS attached to it. Luckily I managed to miss them all.
