Hey Dave! Glad you enjoyed our "neck of the woods"! We frequent a COE CG a little ways down the river from Bobby Brown called Hester's Ferry. I grew up swimming in the pool at BB.
On the Sheriff's race in Wilkes County...Tim Crook is one of 6 or 7 people we have running for sheriff this year. I think that having a sheriff named Crook would just be weird!

Nice write-up and pictures. Looks like a great place for a weekend. Thanks for sharing. Think I'd feel the same way about a sheriff named Crook.

Hey Dave, How did this trip report get by me?? Guess I'm not keeping up with this website lately. What a professional looking website to post your fun-time trips and camper mods, I'm envious. Great pix and write-up. Hard to skyski with a bum back. It figures that you do something really tough like your sport, and then wack the back just while drying off. Does your wife give sympathy massages?
