We bought our 36RD5S from RV Nation as well. They are a great bunch to work with and unlike most of these internet dealers, they do help after the sale! I don't know who you are dealing with up there, we bought ours from Jamie. Knock on wood, we haven't had any issues with our new one, but, we had a couple issues with our first one and they (the dealer) and the factory were excellent to help. Granted, I was only a state away, they still went the extra mile to help. Good luck on everything, your G2 is a pretty one! My wife is jealous, because she wants cherry cabinets but they don't offer it in our floorplan
All of the regular Silverbacks are still available. The G2 is just a new
proto, of 2 different floorplans. All of the other floorplans are still
there with the old cap, old cabinets, and original features.
The G2 is not available with the round cap, only the new cap.

you are right about Jeff and his team. I've been talking to Jamie,as she is dealing with the CC warranty rep.
They gave me the go ahead to go to my local RV dealer (Sicards.. 2 mins down the street) and get everything fixed.
Unfortunately Sicards is booked until Aug....and since I didn't buy it from them, I would have to get in line (understandable).
There is just no excuse for the way CC ran my water lines...it is ridiculous...PLUS a screw went into it 16" from where the split was.
I have fixed the problem myself...I had to take the whole lower sheet metal side off the trailer to get at the pipe.
I cut out 6', got rid of an elbow and re-routed the hot and cold.
All I can say is, they are stupid.

Like most things I'm sure it looks better in person. I just think its a little too different for me. As it turns out the floorplan we're looking at it's not part of those prototypes. So I don't have to worry.
