I was inside the Impulse and I loved the inside of one of the '07 models (2007 Itasca Impulse 26A ).
I especially liked the trunk and the cooler. Today I was on the website and I saw the Cambria. I can see it is more expensive but the width is narrow which is a big plus for us. The '09 has three slides which I also like. here is the link for the Cambria. '09 Itasca Cambria
This is so hard. I am glad I am giving myself lots of time to decide and the dealer we are working with is not pressuring us at all.

The Impulse is Winnebago's entry-level model line for the Itasca brand, and is a traditional type C with part of the house over the cab. This could hold a large bed, it usually does.

The Cambria is Winnebago's luxury-trim B+ model line. It has a smaller streamlined cap over the cab (which may have some sort of entertainment center and or storage). The interior finishings are supposed to be a more premium quality, using more expensive materials.

If you want to see a traditional C from Winnebago at a higher trim level than the Impulse, look at Itasca Spirit or Winnebago Outlook. In earlier model years, look at Itasca Sundancer or Minnie Winnie (as the Spirit until recently was the entry-level).

I think the decision would be easy with these in mind...

1. Do you have kids that come along?

2. Do you need alot of storage and more sleeping room?

3. Is it just you and partner?

4. Are you going to be pulling a toad?

5. If not pulling a toad, will you visit "tight" streeted towns?

If you answered NO to #1, then get the Cambria.

If you answered NO to #2, then get the Cambria.

If you answered YES to #3, then get the Cambria.

If you answered YES to #4, then get the Cambria.

If you answered YES to #5, then get the Cambria.

I guess you can see which one I'd choose, (if I purchased from that company.)

We have a Aspect 29H 2008. Which is the Winneabgo version of the Itasca Cambria. It is a Class C NOT a B+.

We have a 2006 Winnebago Aspect 26A. It is awesome. The 09 Cambria/Aspect versions are a different floorplan but I am sure the same quality. The questions have been answered. If it is just the two of you most of the time and maybe four once in a while get the Cambria/Aspect. We use the Aspect for business, track meets, vacation and now we will be looking at college campuses for our daughter.
