do you unload things you have stored in it?

We need to take our HTT in this week for at least a day. i don't want anything that we store in it (tools, cooking stuff, hoses, lanterns, bedding, etc.) to "walk off" while it's at the dealer...

But, i also don't really have the time or energy to unpack & then re-pack it all.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

No we don't remove anything. We have had RV's for about 20 years and have never had a problem with stuff walking off.

Usually just take the food out of the fridge and shut it down because it may sit for a couple days and I didn't want the battery to wear dowm. Never any other issues other than some greasy prints here and there.

No, we just have the usual stuff in there and have never had a problem over 13 years and two TT's. Last time we forgot to disconnect the 12 volt battery and it sat at the dealer for a couple of weeks before we picked it up and the battery was dead.

When you get there, tell the service rep that he can have the rig right after you are done video taping the inside and the outside of your rig, that way you have a dated record of everything inside and the condition of your HTT as of the date and hour you dropped it off and you will do the same when you come back to pick it up. Tell him, her that any difference in the two tapes will be charged to their service department and that they were on notice. JMHO

Never had a problem leaving items in the MH while being serviced.
