We're hoping to travel the Fundy Coast in July about 4-5 days, after a stop at Acadia National Park and on way to Nova Scotia. Advice about best sites for camping? Reservations needed?

Grand Manan Island, NB right in the middle of the Fundy Tides.

Two favorites close to your expected travel route:
A short travel-day after leaving Acadia:
Cobscook Bay State Park
Dry camping only.

A longer travel-day after leaving Acadia:
New River Provincial Park
Electric and water.

Both are on the water where you can see the strong tides. Both have bathhouses and dump stations. You should be ok without reservations, maybe, hopefully!

A good side trip for a day or two:
Campobello Island
Nice NB provincial park/campground here.

I'd do all three, plus Grand Manan and Fundy NP...OMG, there's not enough days in the week Great trip. Have fun!!

Lubec Maine, stay at Sunset Point, great little campground with bay views, good base for Campo Bello island and visiting East/West Quoody lighthouses, also FDR park on island is excellent. Uncle Zippy's has excellent pizza.
If your going to stop at Hopewell rocks stay at Ponderosa Pines campground, only game in town after Fundy NP but very close for high/low tide observations and a very adequate facility.

If you're into hiking trails, I submit the NB Provincial Park on Campobello Island has trails which connect with those in the international park.

For those who do lots of small museums, the Roosevelt cottage furnishings a just typical of those in other period museums.

I really like community museums throughout all of Atlantic Canada because they are 90% staffed by people who are from that community and who are 'of that community'.
